SM also stands for championship of Finland (in Finnish). See SM-liiga. Is that worth mentioning? --Lakefall 17:56, 15 August 2004 (UTC)[reply]

SM vs. S&M

[edit]

I don't think S&M should redirect to SM. - Emiellaiendiay 03:29, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Order

[edit]

Shouldn't these be in some kind of order? Greg Birdsall 20:16, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done and done. Seems it was alphabetical at first, but people really like headings. Nahum Reduta (talk) 01:53, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

The phrases "SM may refer to" and "SM stands for" are both listed as acceptable in WP:MOSDAB. "Refers to" is broader and more inclusive of a variety of entries which may come and go on this page. It includes acronyms, initialisms, and also actual name uses such as SM Prime Holdings and even .sm which may or may not "stand for" something. No reasoning has yet been given for choosing the narrower verbage. As to the wiktionary link, most of the wiktionary entries in the original box contained very little information, therefore I have chosen to de-clutter the box by including only the "SM" listing, which is, after all, the title of this page. Service mark

[edit]

I came to this page looking for the page for service mark, but I was unable to find it. I think that just as the superscript "tm" can be found linked to on the tm disambiguation page, so the superscript "sm" should be linked on this disambiguation page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.173.209.215 (talk) 00:47, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, I'm just blind. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.173.209.215 (talk) 00:50, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
